The forthcoming 2017 assembly election to Etah is poised for multi-cornered contest among the BJP, SP, BSP and Congress. In 2014, the BJP candidate from Etah Lok Sabha constituency, Rajveer Singh, had secured a lead of 48882 votes over his nearest SP rival Devendra Singh Yadav in the Etah assembly segment.
